BHUBANESWAR — The Odisha state cabinet approved a ₹4,200 crore Coastal Resilience Mission to harden 480 km of vulnerable shoreline against intensifying cyclones.

The five-year programme will fund sea-wall construction, mangrove restoration across 22,000 hectares, and the installation of next-generation Doppler radar at Paradip and Gopalpur.
